There are many ways to Meditate & find your Spiritual Center. Sitting in Nature, Sitting in Silence, Moving & stretching. It is important to find the way that works best for YOU. There are so many varieties & styles, if one doesn’t work, then, on to the next! What’s important is the peace of mind & serenity you gain from maintaining a Meditation Practice.

Meditation serves many different needs & purposes. Connection to the Universe, Connection to the Divine, Reconnecting to Self, Unlocking & Understanding the meanings behind things we have been taught & the lessons we need to learn. There are many different types of meditations. Breathing helps to quiet the mind, Moving helps to unite the mind & body, & sitting in silence allows us to connect to Spirit & the Universe. Whatever your need there is a style & practice best suited for you. Mindful Contemplation while doing chores, breathing while doing Yoga or Weight Training, Grounding when you are feeling unsure & untethered from the ground. Incense, Crystals, & Sound baths help to clear negative energy & release unwanted thoughts & feelings. The most common form of Meditation are Guided Meditations. These are typically lead by a Teacher or Guide, or they can be listened to from a recording.

The important thing to know about Meditation is that it is not a passive practice. Meditation has an intended outcome, even if it is to relax the body & calm your mind. Meditation has a necessity of intention. It also takes time to cultivate a practice. Very few people have been able to “fully” Meditate on their first few attempts. Over time it becomes easier to relax & enter a meditative state, but it is important to be diligent & build a routine. Otherwise it stays hard to do & you wont want to meditate on your own.

Understanding Meditation

Classes: $65.00 per person

Ask about Group rates & learning how to structure & lead your own meditations

 
  • Guided Meditations:

    $35.00 per session (up to an hour)

    $55.00 per session (over an hour) *up to 2 hours

    for a single person — max of 6 people per session

  • Building & Guiding Meditations:

    $65.00 per Person

    Classes run about 2 to 3 hours as needed

    single or group classes available

  • LOnger meditations Will be Charged by session Accordingly

Mindfulness is the practice of being present & aware of yourself in the present moment.

Mindful Practices teach us how to listen to what is being said to us & respond in kind. Through Mindful Practices we learn how to be better team players, family members, workers, & friends. Mindfulness allows us how to hold space for others, by creating the right container & guiding them thoughtfully. The I Ching states: in order to lead others One must act with right thought & action (Hexagram 7: The Army) By learning how to quiet our minds & correct ourselves we become better able to engage with the world, with all its’ ups, downs, & turbulences. Mindfulness gives us the ability to understand our impact on the world & those around us. Armed with this knowledge we are better able to conduct our selves & set an example for others. Mindfulness can be taught at any age & is available to anybody who wishes to learn it.
